Meghan Markle appears to shade Royals in candid chat

Meghan Markle has apparently taken a veiled swipe at the Royal Family.

In a new episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan hosted viral beauty brand Kitsch's founder, Cassandra Morales Thurswell.

During their conversation about balancing business and motherhood, Meghan told Cassandra that she had "a lot of external things happening" during her second pregnancy.

For the unversed, Meghan and Prince Harry tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their first child, Prince Archie, in 2019.

Following their issues with the Royal Family, the duo stepped down as working royals in 2020 and moved to California, America. There, they welcomed their second child, Princess Lilibet, in 2021. At the time, their feud with the royals was at its peak after the Sussexes made explosive claims of racism and mistreatment against them in their interview with Oprah.

Recalling the time, Meghan told Cassandra, “Before I was a mum, I'm going to give a speech with a baby on my hip. I had a whole vision. Then you fast forward, granted I had a lot of external things happening by the time I had both pregnancies and [both] babies. But it was not the way [that] I envisioned it."

As she described her struggle, the Duchess of Sussex seemed to giggle when she mentioned "a lot of external things happening".

In his memoir Spare, Harry shed more light on the rift between him and Prince William, alleging that the Prince of Wales pushed him to the ground in a physical altercation after dubbing Meghan “rude.” He also alleged that his father, King Charles, was a distant parent and called him the “spare.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live with their two children in their Montecito mansion.
