Prince William shares hilarious insight into Prince Louis' football fandom

Prince William, the Prince of Wales made a solo visit to Edinburgh this week.

On Wednesday, William visited the Leith Community Centre and YMCA Edinburgh and met the locals. He also joined a training session with Street Soccer Scotland.

During his conversation with children and volunteers, the poster of the Aston Villa team caught his attention as he passionately supports them.

William jokingly said to YMCA user Shaniah Gilgun, "Maybe I should bring John McGinn... might have to wait till he retires - we'll put it in the pipeline."

"He promised me he would come up and show me around," he added.

In the light-hearted moment, William also mentioned his youngest son Prince Louis, saying that he supports "five different teams now."

It is worth mentioning that Prince William, who shares Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis with wife Kate Middleton, often takes his eldest son George to Villa matches.

Notably, the visit also marked the launch of a new partnership between the charity and Prince William's Royal Foundation, which will support community-led initiatives focused on social change.

The official Instagram handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales also shared an exciting update from the visit.

Sharing a carousel of photos from Prince William’s visit, the statement read, "Leith Community Centre. A community space going through a big transformation. Proud to mark the launch of Leith United, a new social enterprise bringing together @streetsoccerscotland, @ymcaedinburgh and the @leithcommunitycentre Association to deliver health, wellbeing and social connection for thousands of residents."

"Through the Royal Foundation's Community Impact Programme, support has been provided to protect this vital local hub from closure and to turn it into a sustainable centre for opportunity and belonging," it further read.
