Kate Middleton on Thursday travelled to Scotland to attend the naming ceremony of HMS Glasgow at BAE Systems' shipyard in Scotstoun, Glasgow.
Her husband, Prince William, had arrived in Scotland a day earlier as part of his royal duties.
In a video clip shared on the couple's Instagram, William was seen landing in Edinburgh on Wednesday.
According to some widely circulated pictures and claims, the Prince of Wales went to the airport to receive his wife when she arrived next day.
A photo showed Princess Catherine smiling at the sight of her husband upon her arrival.
In another picture, the heir to the British throne and his wife are seen wrapping their arms around each other in a hug as a sign of affection and greeting.
Prince William joined his wife to take part in the significant ceremony for the state-of-the-art Type 26 anti-submarine frigate, with Kate serving as the ship's official Sponsor since June 2021.
