John Travolta surprised fans with a special appearance at the Grease sing-along event held at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Friday.

The Pulp Fiction star stunned the audience by dressing up as his iconic character, Danny Zuko, from the 1978 hit film Grease.

Taking to Instagram, the 71-year-old shared his look and a video from the event with a caption that read, "Tonight at the Hollywood Bowl, for the first time I surprised everyone at the GREASE Sing-A-Long and dressed up as Danny Zuko. No one knew. Not even the cast. Thank you for a great evening."

According to reports, Travolta's surprise visit was a complete secret, with even the cast members unaware of his planned appearance. 

As he walked onto the stage, the crowd erupted in cheers, and his co-stars were visibly shocked. 

Travolta, sporting his signature leather jacket and slicked-back hair, played along with his character's persona, charming the audience with his classic flair .

Travolta was joined on stage by fellow Grease cast members Barry Pearl, Michael Tucci, Kelly Ward, and Didi Conn, as well as director Randal Kleiser. 

Thousands of people including celebrities like Jennifer Garner and Sam Asghari and Jimmy Fallon reacted to his Instagram post after the surprise appearance.
