Henry Golding has opened up about playing the role of James Bond.

In an interview with People Magazine, the actor shared his thoughts on stepping into the shoes of 007.

Henry said, “I think that's every actor's kind of nightmare,” adding, “But at the same time, [you're] also wanting to kind of add something new to a franchise.”

“Why can't they bring out more agents or more OO's? I think that would be so much more fun, because there just isn't the restraints and the expectation,” the actor shared further.

However, he admitted that “Maybe I'm just a p----. I don't know.”

“But I think I would love it so much more if there wasn't that overhanging cultural pressure,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that Henry Golding’s comments comes ahead of the next James Bond movie, which will mark 26th film in the franchise.

Earlier, it was announced that Denis Villeneuve will direct the next 007 movie, but it’s still not revealed who will play the next James Bond.
