Prince William and Kate Middleton have chosen to ignore Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, however, they do hope their business ventures’ work.
According to Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, the Prince and Princess of Wales do not pay much heed to what the Sussexes are up to.
This comes as Meghan dropped her wine under As Ever on the birth anniversary of Harry and William’s late mother, Princess Diana.
Criticizing the timing of Meghan’s alcohol release, Schofield told The Sun that it was a “shockingly tone deaf” move on Meghan’s part.
Further speaking of how William and Kate must have reacted on the launch, she noted that they have been "quite good at ignoring the Sussexes.”
But the expert noted that anything related to the former Princess of Wales remains a "tender spot” for William.
"To launch an alcohol brand on Diana's birthday, it felt pointed, or at the very least, shockingly tone deaf,” she said.
Schofield further shared how the royal family may not hold affection for the Sussexes’ ventures, but they quietly hope they succeed in business.
"Privately, there is hope within the family that Harry and Meghan will eventually thrive in the business world, not out of affection, but out of strategy.
"The thinking goes, if they're secure and financially stable, maybe the public criticism towards the palace and media outbursts will subside."
