Usher and Big Sean have partnered up for a big community-forward venture.

The pair of musicians have joined forces to invest $1 million in an entertainment production facility.

The Detroit Entertainment Innovation Incubator will be located in the Michigan Central Boys & Girls Club and is set to contain a virtual production studio, special effects lab and creators lounge.

“I’ve always been a true believer in igniting a spark in the next generation to be better and have access to things we didn’t,” Usher, 47, said in a statement. “It takes just one person to believe in your success, and I’m honored to be one of many in this partnership to help make that happen.”

The Yeah! Hitmaker believed the new lab will not only minimize the access gap for the youth but also prepare them for greatness.

It is pertinent to note that Big Sean, whose real name is Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, has been committed to Detroit over the years, continuously working to uplift and support the community through various initiatives.

This latest effort marked his fifth major investment Sean, 37, has made through the Sean Anderson Foundation since 2018, further highlighting his long-standing dedication to creating meaningful opportunities and positive change in his hometown.
