While the smartphone fraternity is already abuzz with numerous upcoming entries, a fresh series of leaks has stepped into the spotlight, disclosing Pixel 10a's launch timing and colour options.

As outlined in the rumour, claiming that Google’s impending Pixel 10a might debut sooner than expected, the next budget Pixel handset may reach stores in around a month, pointing to a possible mid-February release.

If the anticipation holds, this would place the Pixel 10a among the earliest launches for Google Pixel's “a” series phones.

Pixel 10a colour options

The Pixel 10a, according to the leak, will be available in four colours: Obsidian, Berry, Fog and Lavender, keeping alive Google's legacy of mixing classic dark tones with softer and playful shades.

Most likely storage options are the most common ones: between 128GB and 256GB, offering some flexibility depending on usage needs.

The display of the Pixel 10a is rumoured to comprise a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. If the prediction comes true, this would be a huge upgrade for a budget-friendly Pixel phone.

In the camera segment, a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13MP front-facing camera are reported.

Under the hood, the handset is said to offer 8GB of RAM backed by a 5,100mAh battery to deliver reliable all-day performance.

The biggest uncertainty around the Pixel 10a is the processor. Most of the earlier reports, as well as this one, pointed to the Tensor G4 chip, though speculation hinted that a lower-powered Tensor G5 variant could appear.
