Josie Gibson has reportedly become the first celebrity to sign up for this year's Strictly Come Dancing on this years show.
The This Morning presenter, 41, who rose to fame on Big Brother, is said to be in talks with the producers to appear on the BBC competition, which is set to return in September with a refreshed format following the departure of several professional dancers.
The BBC, who missed out on signing Josie three years ago to ITV rival I'm A Celebrity, are hoping the presenter's 'down-to-earth charm' will be a hit with viewers.
A source told The Sun: 'Josie has been on the BBC's radar for a while and they've not given up their pursuit. They're hoping this year is the year, and talks are progressing well.
'Bosses are convinced her down-to-earth charm will be the boost this year's new-look show needs.
'Warm and engaging, she's just what they require right now and will be a sure-fire hit with fans.'
The BBC are also in the process of replacing long-time hosts Claudia Winkleman, 54, and Tess Daly, 57.
Meanwhile, Josie continues to stun fans with her incredible weight-loss transformation.
It comes after she revealed last year that she has shed an impressive five stone.
