John Cena goes bald!

John Cena has gone fully bald, and he's owning it completely.

The retired WWE star, 49, shared a photo online of himself with a completely shaved head as he posed alongside hair restoration surgeon Dr. Ken Anderson for his second round of treatment at the Anderson Center for Hair.

Far from hiding the look, Cena posted the image proudly, writing on Facebook and X that he had "went all in" by shaving his head this time to ensure he got the "best possible results."

It is a bold move for a man whose cropped haircut has been a signature part of his look throughout his career.

Fans who follow Cena closely will know that towards the tail end of his WWE tenure he had grown his hair out, only for a noticeable bald patch at the crown to attract attention.

Cena has been refreshingly open about the whole thing, crediting the fans themselves with pushing him to act.

"As I was trying to hide my hair loss, the audience was bringing it to light," he told PEOPLE after his first treatment.

"I saw their signs that said 'The bald John Cena.' They pushed me into going to see what my options were."

The healing process after his first transplant was, by his own description, quite a sight.

Speaking during WrestleMania 42 in April, he revealed the swelling had been so significant it left him looking like he had "an alien head."

Reaction online to the shaved look has been characteristically enthusiastic.

"Stone Cold John Cena," wrote one fan, referencing the legendary bald WWE icon. "I respect you want to do all you can to have luscious locks but the bald look suits you," offered another.

Cena completed his 23-year wrestling career with a retirement tour in 2025, during which he captured a record-breaking 17th world title.

He is now making the full-time transition to Hollywood, following in the footsteps of two other famously follicle-free WWE alumni, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Dave Bautista.

Whether the transplant ultimately delivers the results he's after, one thing is clear: John Cena bald looks absolutely fine.
