Megan Thee Stallion breaks silence after hospitalisation: 'Wake-up call'
Megan Thee Stallion admits she's been pushing herself beyond her limits

Megan Thee Stallion is being candid about her health after she was rushed to the hospital mid-show.

On Tuesday, March 31, the Grammy-winning rapper was in the middle of a performance of Moulin Rouge! The Musical — marking her Broadway debut as the first-ever female Zidler — when she had to stop the show and go to the emergency room. She later took to Instagram to address what happened.

“Last night was a real wake-up call for me,” Megan wrote. I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough,” she admitted.

“It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn’t,” the WAP rapper reflected.

Addressing her fans directly, she continued, “I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting yall down… I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been..I’ll be right on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve.”

“Thank you for always riding with me and loving me though everything,” the message concluded.
