Joanna Page’s epic win of Taskmaster season 21 opens the door to something Love Island fans will recognize immediately.

After weeks filled with completely entertaining tasks, Swansea star Page crowned the 21-season winner of British comedy panel show Taskmaster.

Page appeared on the series with a panel of comedians that included Amy Gledhill and Joel Dommett, Scottish writer Armando Iannucci and Hollywood actor Kumail Nanjiani.

Page, 48, made a stunning victory after a neck-and-neck race till the finish line involving chaotic tasks like fuzzing from clothes and near near misses with paint balloons.

The Gavin and Stacey actress, in a post-triumph interview with Metro UK spilled the beans about a Love-Island style twist.

“I’m already planning my costume. I’ve been thinking in great detail about it. It’s made me laugh so much that my costume has gone down really for this series as being a minion,” Page said.

The Welsh screenstar teased with something Love Island All Stars fans can relate to, saying “You’ll do about 11 tasks day. I did a load of tasks which weren’t even used, so they only ever use the best tasks.

“They could make another show of that, all of the unseen tasks. I did something with some baked beans, and I also did something with an onion, which was not very pleasant.”

For the unversed, All Taskmaster winners are qualified to participate in Taskmaster: Champions and Champions, which is just the brainy cousin of Love Island All Stars.

After the season 21 finale, Channel 4 has announced the line-up for the Taskmaster season 22.
