Prince Harry’s troubles seem to be piling up as he received a concerning update from the US Government just as his UK visit with family looms.
The Duke of Sussex was previously embroiled in a controversy surrounding his visa application, a legal action brought by the Heritage Foundation following the release of Harry’s memoir Spare.
The think tank argued that Harry must have lied on his visa application since he admitted to using recreational drugs in the book and other British celebrities have been denied entry for doing the same.
It was revealed that the US State Department would be releasing thousands of pages of documents concerning Prince Harry at the end of July. Officials have spent months processing 307 documents totalling 2487 pages. This could share a glimpse into how the US Government views King Charles’s younger son.
Harry had already won a separate lawsuit last year against the Department of Homeland Security as the court declined to release Harry’s visa application to protect the royal’s privacy.
Heritage lawyers had filed fresh proceedings to acquire alternative documentation about Harry.
The update comes just days before Prince Harry had been expected to return to the UK with Meghan and their two children. The Sussexes are currently in Europe for a family holiday but there is no confirmation issued from official sources.
