Princess Kate, Prince William escort George to school on first day: Watch

Prince George has finally stepped into Eton College for his first day alongside his beloved parents Prince William and Princess Kate.

The Prince and Princess of Wales escorted the young royal as he begins to create his own path at the prestigious institution amid Harry and Meghan's presence in the UK.

In the newly released video, Princess Kate is seen holding an umbrella while encouraging her eldest son, George, 13, with every step as he embarks on a new chapter in the future king's education.

The video of George's milestone day shared on social media. Rebecca English and other royal cpommentators also uploaded the Waleses' historic moment on their official Instagram accounts, with fans sending best wishes to the Prince.

The 13-year-old  previously completed his preparatory education at Lambrook School, the independent Berkshire school where his younger siblings Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, eight, also study.

The royal commentator also shared three lovely new photographs of Prince George in his Eton College uniform.

As a boarder, the prince will be given his own single room in one of the school's 25 boarding houses, each of which houses around 55 students supervised by a house master and residential staff.

The annual cost of attending the elite institution is roughly £65,000, with admission requiring boys to pass demanding entrance assessments.
