The body of a missing 63-year-old grandmother who went missing on August 8, 2026, was found near Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

Officials from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department discovered the dead body of Alisa Goods in a drainage ditch near a parking lot on Thursday, August 20.

According to the Las Vegas police officials, the CCTV footage showed that Alisa Goods had tumbled down an embankment, collapsed, and was hidden from view from the nearby roadway, Wayne Newton Boulevard.

Goods’s family stated that she went missing in Las Vegas while in town to see a friend.

Her family added that after her disappearance, someone got in touch with the family members using her mobile, requesting cryptocurrency.

Goods heartbroken niece, Alana Calloway issued a statement on Friday, August 21, saying, “Our hearts are broken. Words cannot describe the pain our family is experiencing right now. We just want to thank the public for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers.”

On the other hand, police officials from Las Vegas have ruled out foul play in Goods’ disappearance.

They said the texts may have come from scammers using “spoofing” technology to represent themselves as texting under Goods’ number.

Police said the remains’ identity had not been yet officially confirmed and it is subject to further investigation, with cause of death still unknown.
