SYLHET: Ireland captain William Porterfield won the toss and put the United Arab Emirates (UAE) into bat first in their First Round Group B match of the fifth World Twenty20 Cup here at the Sylhet Divisional Stadium on Wednesday.
Ireland made one change in the side that won a last-ball thriller against Zimbabwe on Monday. Tim Murtagh came in to replace Andy McBrine.
UAE on the other hand made two changes bringing in left-arm spinner Ahmed Raza and pacer Sharif Asadullah in place of Manjula Guruge and Shadeep Silva.
