IRSA releases 114,188 cusecs from rim stations
ISLAMABAD: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Wednesday released 114,188 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 129,981 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, the water level in River Indus at Tarbela was at dead levels of 1378 feet.

Water inflow in the Tarbela dam was recorded as 31,000 cusecs while out flow was recorded as 30,400 cusecs.

The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1046.50 feet which was 6.50 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 44,971 cusecs and 29,868 cusecs respectively.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 51,020, 26,768 and 20,565 cusecs respectively.

Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 32,200 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 21,720 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala. (APP)
