BIRMINGHAM: Malala Yousafzai is making headway in terms of recovery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she is under treatment for a brain injury that she sustained after Taliban shot her in the head for her defying their anti-education especially girls’ education diktats, Geo News reported.

In a statement issued here, hospital authorities said her sixth night in the hospital went smoothly.

“Physicians are very positive about her prognosis as she is showing signs of speedy recovery consistently”, the statement added.

Hospital authorities have also set up a fund for Malala. Birmingham Council is taking care of all the flowers and get-well-soon cards pouring in for Malala from all over Britain.

It must be mentioned that Maala’s family is in Pakistan, where they could be contacted through trust communication.
