Sindh CNG stations shut for 24 hours

KARACHI: All CNG stations in Sindh region remained shut for 24 hours-- from Saturday midnight till Sunday midnight.

As per Sui Southern Gas Company anouncemnet, all the gas filling stations was closed from midnight for 24 hours. Earlier this week, the company had already announced to keep the stations shut for three days a week as part of weekly CNG closure schedule.

The CNG stations witnessed a great rush of vehicles on Friday, hours before the closure of the statons.

The CNG station owners are observing a strike against the cut in prices of the commodity that is causing them 'losses', as stated by the owners.

The tug of war situation between the CNG association and government has added to the misery of masses, who are unable to attain the gas for their vehicles and run their day-to-day affairs.
