KARACHI: The consumers of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) across the province of Sindh will have to rely on alternate fuel, as CNG filling stations will be shut down at 8:00 AM Friday for 24 hours.
According to a statement of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the CNG pumps will be closed down at 8 AM Friday and reopened after 24 hours on Saturday.
The statement further said that earlier in the current week a one-day CNG holiday had to be observed after a gas pipeline was blown up near Sui area in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, the gas supply to industries will remain shut on Sunday as per the schedule, the statement added.
