ISLAMABAD: A downward revision of petroleum products’ prices effective from May 1 is likely as Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary, in this regard, to the Ministry of Petroleum.

According to sources, OGRA has proposed Rs6.52 per liter cut in the price of petrol and Rs4.78 a litre in that diesel.

The authority has recommended that the price of kerosene oil be reduced by Rs5.16 per litre and that of light diesel by Rs4.30 a litre.
