KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar has dispatched a letter to British Government, stating that his party supremo Altaf Hussain had not threatened protestors at Teen Talwar (three swords) roundabout, Geo News reported.
In a letter to British government, Mr. Sattar stated that Altaf Hussain had clarified his statement later so there is no reason to blame him.
According to Sattar, Mr Hussain had said that he didn’t want any skirmish otherwise he could get the three swords in real form through his party workers.
He mentioned in the letter that the accusation leveled by Imran Khan against Mr. Hussain of murdering slain Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid Hussain was unfounded.
The MQM has sent a CD to British parliamentarians and key departments, comprising references of Mr. Hussain's statement.
