Resolution at APC to be approved with consensus: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said Sunday that a resolution during the All Parties Conference (APC) would be approved with consensus.

During a news conference, Nisar said the APC would begin at 11:00 AM on Monday and the participants will be given a briefing on the country’s security matters by the Army Chief and DG ISI. The interior minister hoped that the conference would yield results.

Commenting on the situation in Karachi, Nisar said several extortionists and target killers had been arrested during targeted operations in the city. He added that those arrested had disclosed their affiliations with political parties.

According to Nisar, Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh had been given one month to improve the performance of the police.
