LAHORE: After admitting his involvement in spot-fixing, fast bowler Muhamamd Asif submitted a written apology to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday.

Asif met acting PCB chairman, Najam Sethi at the Gaddafi Stadium and said that he stood by his apology to the nation. The fast bowler said he was willing to cooperate with the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Asif is serving a five year ban for bowling predetermined no-balls during the 2010 test against England at Lord’s. Last week, Asif apologised for his involved in 2010 spot-fixing scandal, pledging to cooperation with the ICC.
