Geo News will re-emerge once again, says Senator Mushahidullah

ISLAMABAD: Senator Mushahidull Khan on Thursday criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for repeatedly attacking Geo News.

Speaking at the joint sitting of the Parliament, the PML-N lawmaker said that Geo office came under attack more than Somnath temple.

He said it was Geo that turned Imran Khan into a hero, adding that the TV channel will re-emerge once again.

Khan said that Geo and Jang group was the largest media group of the country and excesses were being committed against it despite it had admitted its mistakes.

He asked whether a single institution could claim that it had not committed any mistake. The Senator said that Geo and Jang was the biggest institution of the country and had delivered great services to Pakistan.

He urged the parliament to play its role over whatever is happening to Geo. He termed the Geo’s matter a national issue.
