US presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders's campaign team on Sunday posted a photo on Facebook with a caption stating “Bernie has won in Iowa.”

The photo was an announcement of Sanders's declared victory in the Iowa primary election — but what was unique about it was that it was written in Urdu.

Although Sanders actually lost by a small margin due to a technicality, he seems to have won many hearts with his inclusive election campaign.

Fans and supporters were quick to jump on the bandwagon to cheer Bernie on, repurposing some of the most popular political slogans in Pakistan to announce their support.

They seem to have had quite a lot of fun while they were at it too!
