At least five injured as bus overturns in Karachi

KARACHI: At least five people were injured in an accident late Wednesday when a bus overturned on Shahrae Faisal near Natha Khan Bridge in Karachi. 

The bus was coming from Malir and strayed off-track and overturned just as it was descending from the Natha Khan Bridge. 

According to our correspondent Zeeshan Shah, several ambulances and rescue workers had reached the location. The incident caused a traffic jam on both lanes of Sharae Faisal. 

Almost two hours had passed since the accident, but police or district administration officials were yet to reach the location. 

A massive traffic jam was witnessed on Sharae Faisal in the wake of accident, however, the authorities managed to restore flow of vehicles after a few hours.
