Two cops killed in Karachi shooting

KARACHI: Two cops, deployed on the security of a doctor, were killed in a firing episode in Karachi on Wednesday night, officials said.
The incident took place in Defence Phase-6 area, Karachi, when unknown assailants fired at the vehicle of a doctor, said police. As a consequence, the two policemen guarding the medic were killed.
According to SSP South, the incident was an outcome of a long-drawn personal enmity.
He added that the brother of the doctor in question has also been killed in a similar incident earlier.
