FAISALABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Thursday warned the government of an "immediate and befitting reaction" from his party if it resorts to violence to stop the November 2 Islamabad sit-in.

"We have formulated a policy, and we are ready to face any what-so-ever measures from the government," Khan said, addressing his party workers in a gathering at Faisalabad today.

Taking a dig at the premier in his short address, the PTI chief said that the Prime Minister was playing in the hands of enemy states by maligning the armed forces.

"The government is alleging that non-state actors would be sent for the PTI's dharna," he said. "Which PM maligns its own army? Which PM throws its army under the bus to appease the Israeli and Indian governments?"
