Pro wrestlers ready to rumble in Pakistan

KARACHI: If growing up you wanted wrestling competitions to be held in Pakistan, then you are in luck.

Pro Wrestling Entertainment (PWE) is organising a pro wrestling competition in the country to fulfill the wishes of all the fans of the sport.

In this regard, many international wrestlers will also come to Pakistan, according to the organisers.

According to details shared by the PWE, internationally renowned wrestlers from more than 20 countries will participate in the grant wrestling events on Pakistan’s soil in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar from May to November, 2017.

Some of them, according to PWE officials, will present at the event launching in Karachi on Tuesday.

“Tiny Iron, Badshah Pehalwan Khan, Yacine Osmani, Omen, and Flesh Gordon will be attending the pre-launching ceremony at Karachi,” said a PWE official.  

“PWE will feature all of your favorite wrestlers and guest stars from around the globe. Our goodwill ambassadors will also share their experiences and real image of Pakistan all around the world,” the official added.

The news to hold pro wrestling comes after the success of Pakistan Super League, which has opened the doors for all international sports to make their mark in Pakistan.

Moreover, Brazilian legend footballer Ronaldinho had recently announced his plans of visiting Pakistan giving football fans plenty of reason to celebrate.
