Will Karan Johar’s next film bring together SRK, Ranbir Kapoor?

The Internet is abuzz with rumours that three of Bollywood’s heavyweights are teaming up for a project in the near future – making a powerful group that will guarantee film’s success.

Karan Johar, who somehow manages to get his name mentioned in the news every week, is gearing up for a movie that will star his friend and mentor Shah Rukh Khan alongside the apple of his eye – Ranbir Kapoor.

 

 

The SRK-KJo duo has a long history, complete with adoration, guidance, and – let’s not forget – feuds. B-world’s romance king has acted in most of the director’s movies, up until they had a much-talked-about fallout (they have mended their ties since).

On the other hand, Kapoor was cast in Johar’s 2016 flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

 

 

In addition, “[Karan] decided he wanted to bring the two together not only because it made casting sense – it did, and how! – but also because he has an idea for a script where SRK and RK fit in perfectly,” a source close to Johar said, Bollywood Hungama reported.

Therefore, it was just a matter of time for the fabulous TV show host to combine the two talented icons of India’s entertainment industry and present to the world something jaw-dropping – primarily because it has Shah Rukh Khan and Johar himself involved in it and not for what we expect a typical storyline.
