Indian misadventures will get befitting reply, pledge Pakistani troops

MUZAFFARABAD: Pakistani troops pledged on Saturday that no Indian misadventure shall go without a befitting response, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The troops took the pledge during a visit by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa along the Line of Control (LoC) in Muzaffarabad Sector.

“Troops unreservedly shared with COAS their feelings about Indian atrocities and CFVs targeting innocent civilians and pledged that no Indian misadventure will go without a befitting response,” according to the statement issued by ISPR.

COAS was given a detailed briefing by the local commander on the operational situation, Indian Cease Fire violations and response by Pakistani troops.

COAS appreciated their state of operational readiness, exemplary high morale and motivation for the fulfilment of assigned mission

He was also briefed on the ongoing communication infrastructure development by Frontier Works Organization.

Army shall continue to play its role in nation building projects, said COAS at the occasion.

We are aware of defence and security challenges being faced by the country, he said, adding “We are capable of defeating all threats ‘irrespective of the front’”.

COAS also hailed Kashmiris on both sides of the LOC for their determination against Indian brutalities and reiterated that Pakistan shall continue its support for the right of self-determination to our Kashmiris brothers in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
