ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the real intentions of the Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will be revealed when the volume 10 of the final report is made public.

She was speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court on Monday after the apex court adjourned the hearing on the Panama Papers case.

"We have filed a petition that unverified documents should be inadmissible in the court," she said, adding that the petition also seeks that the Sharif family be provided with Volume 10 of the JIT report.

"We also want to know under what authority is the JIT still continuing its investigation against the premier and his family?"

The reservations the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had against the JIT earlier continue and the language used by the JIT members in the report shows their ill intentions towards the Sharif family, she added.

Our opponents have failed to prove any corruption case against the prime minister, claimed Aurangzeb.

Condemning the morning's blast in Peshawar in which an officer of the Frontier Corps was martyred and several other injures, the minister said terrorists will never succeed in their mission. “Acts of terror will not break out spirits.”
