Dilip Kumar’s health improves, discharged from hospital

Dilip Kumar's health has improved significantly and his doctors have allowed him to go home, the veteran Bollywood actor’s wife Saira Banu told Indian media.

“This excellent team [of doctors] has given the green signal to take [Dilip] sahab home today. My gratitude to fans, friends for prayers, doctors for expert treatment, hospital staff and Sahab's personal attendants for all the care. It is the Almighty God's will and benevolence that I wish to acknowledge in all humility and gratitude,” Banu said

The 94-year-old actor was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai last week after his health deteriorated. The doctors had said he was suffering from dehydration and urinary complications. He was kept under doctor’s care.
