Four suspected target killers detained in Karachi

KARACHI: Four suspected target killers were taken into custody during a search operation conducted in Martin Quarters, near Jahangir Road, late Thursday night, Rangers officials said.

Law enforcement agencies said the four suspects – who were detained in a raid based on information revealed by a previously arrested suspect – belong to the militant wing of a political party.

Numerous other suspects were detained by Rangers in a raid carried out in Lyari's Sango Lane area, sources stated.

No further information – such as the number of detainees – was provided by the officials.

One dead in traffic accident

One person was killed in a traffic accident late Thursday night near Maripur truck stand, rescue officials said.

The deceased has not been identified yet.
