ISLAMABAD: Member of National Assembly Ayesha Gulalai has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan is the biggest reason why the country's economy has deteriorated.

While speaking to media outside Parliament House on Thursday, she said: “Imran didn’t let the government work for four years.”

Imran engaged in politics of “allegations, protests, hurling abuses” as a result the economy suffered the most. “Now, Imran is after Shahid Khaqan Abbasi (prime minister),” she remarked.

Imran says that people will take to the streets against the government. “I want to say that if you protest then I will also come out on streets.”

She alleged that “Imran’s governance failed to bear any fruit in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”. He was not able to deliver to the people, moreover basic facilities were also not provided to the people, she added.

Imran sits in helicopters and talks to poor about their problems, she remarked. They said that a person is recognised by the company he keeps. “Please take a look at the people around him.”

She also drew comparisons between Imran Khan and Muttahida Qaumi Movement founder and alleged that Imran is responsible for “harassment of women, getting journalists killed as well as attacks on women.”

Imran should leave the country and go back to his in-laws in England, she added.
