DUBAI: The Pakistan Super League has provided several young cricketers an opportunity to showcase their skills at the top level and fast-track their journey to play for Pakistan.

Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz are all players who came into the limelight through PSL and were selected for Pakistan team.

The success story of many players through PSL has given hope to many newcomers and among them, one is Mohammad Musa, an emerging fast bowler who will be representing Islamabad United this season.

Musa was a member of Pakistan U19 team where he impressed everyone with his fiery bowling, and now he aims to do the same in PSL.

“The PSL has given players a chance to play for Pakistan. This is a great opportunity for me and I will try to do my best so that I can also be among the players who are playing for Pakistan team after PSL,” Musa told Geo.tv.

“I want to be the top wicket-taker in this tournament,” he shared.

Musa added that he’s already started learning a lot while being with top players in the PSL.

“It’s been just two days and being with top players has taught me a lot here.”

The 18-year old said that his dream is to get wickets of AB de Villiers and Babar Azam during the upcoming edition of PSL.
