Pakistan Railways increases fares of Green Line train

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has increased the fares of Green Line train which runs from Karachi to Islamabad, officials said Wednesday.
According to railways officials, ticket for adults from Karachi to Islamabad or vice versa would cost Rs7000, whereas a child ticket would cost Rs3850.
The fare from Karachi to Hyderabad and Lahore to Rawalpindi would cost 1350, they said.
Officials said 5 percent discount would be given to passengers for booking of tickets 48 hours ahead of departure.
The new fares would be applicable from April 15.
