Child rapist who sexually assaulted, killed minor arrested: D.G. Khan police

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A child rapist who had sexually assaulted and then killed a minor girl earlier this month here in Basti Gaggo was arrested late Wednesday, police confirmed.
Addressing a press conference, District Police Officer (DPO) Atif Nazir said the arrested suspect has confessed to raping and killing the eight-year-old on April 4.
Police had conducted DNA tests of more than a hundred people from the area and surroundings, the DPO said, adding that the suspect had thrown the deceased's body in a nearby field.
It was, after all, the DNA test that led police to the child rapist.
