ISLAMABAD: The ongoing debate in National Assembly over Federal Budget 2011-12 concluded Thursday, Geo News reported.
Sixty-six recommendations were presented by the Senate before the National Assembly during the budget debate including reduction of administrative expenses by 25, rasing minimum wages to Rs8,000 and bringing Gilgit-Baltitistan into the tax net.
Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi and Chief Whip of Pakistan People’s Party Syed Khursheed Shah thanked the members of the parliament on tabling ‘positive recommendations’.
