Weather Update for Thursday October 31, 2019

A westerly wave is present in upper parts of the country and likely to affect South/north-western parts in next 36-48 hours. Very severe cyclonic storm Kyarr in Arabian Sea is likely to weaken further. Under the influence of this storm moist currents are penetrating Sindh and Balochistan provinces.

Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during day time, while cold in northern areas. However, cloudy weather condition with rain and dust storm is expected in Sindh and Balochistan, while rain/thunderstorm with (snowfall over high mountains) is also expected at isolated places in lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

Cloudy weather condition with rain and dust storm is expected in districts of Sindh and Balochistan. Rain/ thunderstorm (snowfall over high mountains) is also expected at isolated places in South Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Past 24 Hour Weather

Weather remained dry in most parts of the country while cold in northern areas. However rain/ thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Dir, Abbottabad, Chitral, Kalam, Mirkhani, Drosh, Pattan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
