Shab-e-Barat being observed with religious zeal

KARACHI: The holy night of Shab-e-Barat is being observed with religious fervous all across the country as special arrangements for prayers have been made in mosques and also at homes, Geo News reported Sunday.

The worshipers including men, women and children are praying to Allah Almighty, asking for mercy for their sins and for his blessings on the entire Muslim Umah.

Mahafils for Durood-o-Salam are also being organized all the major and small cities as well as rural areas of the country.

According to Ahadith, Allah the most merciful appears in the sky and also on earth during the night between 14 and 15 Shaban-ul-Moazam and opens the doors of his blessings for the people who turn to Him.

Municipal corporations across the country have ordered to make proper cleanliness arrangements in their respective areas besides lighting on all major roads leading to graveyards to facilitate citizens on Shab-e-Baraat.
