Here’s how the deaf community in Pakistan can learn about the coronavirus threat

As part of a campaign to keep the hearing impaired stay aware of the omnipresent threat from the coronavirus, a set of instructions in sign language have been released.

This demonstration from NGO Deaf Reach, on the social media platform Facebook, shared the must know facts about the disease and how to prevent it.

Major cities in Pakistan are in lockdown in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

So far, the country has reported more than 1,400 infections and 11 deaths. Punjab and Sindh are most affected with 490 and 457 confirmed cases, respectively.

The authorities have time and again urged people to cooperate with concerned officials and practice isolation thoroughly to thwart the threat of catching COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
