KARACHI: The Supreme Court Karachi Registry resumed hearing of the suo moto Karachi violence case Wednesday, Geo News reported.
The case is being heard by a five-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaurdhry.
In his remarks during today’s proceedings, Chief Justice said that it was the failure of the government to not provide security adding that 306 people were killed with a span of a few months in the city.
Chief Justice said no killers were arrested and no charge sheets were presented.
“Live and businesses of people have been destroyed”.
The hearing of the case has been adjourned till Thursday.
