Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to have a second home in America.

As per Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to rent out an apartment in New York to support Meghan's philanthropy.

The couple will reportedly live close to the United Nations headquarters in Manhattan. The news comes after Meghan and Harry met UN Deputy-Secretary General Amina Mohammed in 2021.

“In conversation with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex," Amina shared in a tweet.

“Sharing how to engage on issues we care about deeply: climate action, women's economic empowerment, mental wellbeing, youth engagement and vaccine equity.”

During her visit, Meghan was also asked if she is enjoying the trip to which she replied: "It's wonderful to be back, thank you."

Harry and Meghan quit as senior royals to step back and move to the US over disagreements with the institution. The couple currently lives with their children, Archie and Lili, in Montecito, California.
