Meghan Markle ‘cashing in on royals’, claims royal biographer

Meghan Markle has been accused of ‘cashing in on the royals’ by a royal author, who also claims that she wants to be just like Michelle Obama.

Tina Brown, the royal editor for Vanity Fair and Princess Diana’s biographer, made the comments in a recent talk on the Washington Post Live podcast, in which she also said that both Prince Harry and Meghan are struggling after leaving the royal family.

According to Brown: “Meghan doesn't really have a brand – you feel that she is grasping at the 'Twitter caring' of the moment.”

She went on to say that Meghan has tried to cash in on every opportunity for financial independence, and "certainly saw the deals that were there to be made because they were royals. It's as though she couldn't resist everything that was on offer on the celebrity buffet.”

“Meghan has a hunger to avail herself of the global leverage, to live in glorious houses without strings attached,” Brown further claimed.
