DHAKA: West Indies, batting first after winning the toss, reached 361-4 at close on the opening day of the first Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Opener Kieran Powell (117) and Shivnarine Chanderpaul (123 not out) stroked attractive hundreds while Denesh Ramdin hit 52 not out.
For Bangladesh debutant spinner Sohag Gazi claimed 3-97.
