Bollywood megastar Suniel Shetty revealed he was hurt when people trolled his son-in-law cricketer Kl Rahul.

In a chat with ANI, the Hera Pheri star said, "The faith of the people in him, the selectors, the faith of the captain, it said it all. It hurts me 100 times more than it would hurt Rahul or Athiya."

Moreover, the Filmfare winner revealed he becomes uneasy when the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman plays.

"I am anxious whenever he is playing. It's my child playing. I always wish well for him. Looking at the eyes, I have started empathizing and appreciating every cricketer," he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, the 62-year-old revealed he is extremely superstitious when it comes to Indian cricket. Thus, for the World Cup 2023, he shared he watched all the matches on the floor with his wife.

Meanwhile, Suniel's daughter Athiya Shetty exchanged vows with Kl Rahul in January 2023
