LAHORE: The daughter of nuclear physicist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, Dr Dina has exposed a plan to seize a Trust named after her father with the help of forged documents and embezzlement in the trust’s finances.

Dina lodged a case in Lahore against the suspects, after a struggle of two years.

Khan dreamt of building a free hospital for common men in Lahore, for which, he constituted a Board of Trust. During his lifetime, the nuclear scientist had removed some members from the board, she said. Posthumously, those guys allegedly forged Khan’s name and expelled him from the board, she maintained. She said fake documents were forged to register a trust deed as well.

Dina told Geo News that she approached every forum in an attempt to safeguard her father’s trust from the miscreants but to no avail. On the flip side, the counterfeiters levelled allegations against the scientist’s daughter, she said.

After lodging a case against the forgers, the daughter said, she hoped the judiciary would serve her justice and she would be able to fulfill her father’s dream.

AQ Khan passed away at 85 on October 10, 2021 after his health deteriorated. He was laid to rest in Islamabad the same day.
