Zendaya celebrates her lead role in 'Challengers' with 'bts dump'

Zendaya recently sparked excitement among fans with the glimpse of The Challengers behind-the-scenes ahead of its release.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Zendaya posted series of behind the scenes photos and clips from the movie.

The bts photos and clips featured fun moments from the sets with her co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor.

In the caption, the actress expressed her nervousness and gratitude, acknowledging the support she has received.

"A little bts dump in honor of @challengersmovie coming out in a couple days. This is my first time leading a film in this way so ya girls been nervous but everyones excitement and encouragement has meant the world to me," she wrote.

The actress added, "I’m so honored that I get to do this beside these incredibly talented, brilliant (and hilarious) people and on behalf of all of us, we hope you enjoy the film and again…try not to judge the characters too much lol but also #teamtashi."

On the other hand, she took to Instagram Story to give a special shout out to Darnell Appling who played umpire in the film.

She posted a photo of Darnell with the caption, "And an extra special shoutout to our incredible umpire...so proud of you @darnellappling love you"

The Challengers features Zendaya in the lead role as Tashi Duncan, a tennis star whose career is abruptly halted by a severe injury. The film, is scheduled to release on April 26, 2024.
